About us

Bookworm Children Literacy Initiative is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to restoring reading culture among children through book access, school outreach programs, literacy campaigns, and community-based reading initiatives

Bookworm Children Literacy Initiative exists to revive and nurture a strong reading culture among children, especially those in public schools and underserved communities.

We believe that every child deserves access to books and the opportunity to enjoy reading. Our purpose is to make reading fun, engaging, and meaningful by providing age-appropriate books, organizing school reading programs, and creating safe spaces where children can learn, imagine, and grow.
Through reading clubs, book donation drives, literacy campaigns, and community outreach, we help children build strong literacy skills, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning. We work closely with schools, parents, teachers, volunteers, and community partners to support children at every stage of their reading journey.
Bookworm Children Literacy Initiative is a non-profit organization committed to improving early learning and reducing learning gaps by empowering children through the power of books.
